· About today’s shape

Circles laid so that each passes through its neighbour's centre. The almond of overlap has a name of its own, vesica piscis, and it is among the oldest figures in geometry because it is the first thing a compass makes if you never change the radius. What is drawn here is the parity of the overlaps: a region counts when an odd number of circles claim it.

The board, the names and the positions are kept exactly as they were published. Logos are whatever each site last gave us, and a site that has since been delisted keeps its place in the picture without a link. See who is listed today →
